After all the hype and apparent battles between those who want a genuinely green Brexit and others who would, it sometimes seems, sell an ageing relative and add bleach and unwanted hormones to our diets for the sake of signing a trade deal with the US, Environment Secretary, Michael Gove, has finally launched a major consultation document entitled Health and Harmony: The Future for Food, Farming and the Environment in a Green Brexit. Anyone wishing to respond has until the 8th of May to do so, but don’t bother to complain if you are unhappy with the outcome, but didn’t make the effort when given the chance! Visit gov.uk/government/consultations/the-future-for-food-farming-and-the-environment to find out more, and to have your say.
