Turkey Dog Treats

The porridge oats soak up the juice and fat and create the meatloaf. It cuts up as a solid chunk.

INGREDIENTS

450g pure turkey mince
100g  porridge oats
1 egg
A generous pinch of Parmesan

METHOD

1           Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F, Gas 4).

2           Mix all the ingredients together using your hands and pat it down well into a greased loaf tin.

3           Bake for 30–35 minutes.

4           Leave to cool completely, then cut into thick strips.

Refrigerate and store in a sealed container. It has the consistency of meatloaf, and any excess can be frozen.
